Thank you for stopping by our web site to find out more information regarding our recent travel adventures. In May 2006, Stacie and Jason headed overseas for two weeks to visit numerous destinations, including Eldoret and Nairobi (Kenya), Paris (France), and the Masai Mara Game Reserve Park bordering Kenya and Tanzania.

Our main reason for traveling overseas was to visit Stacie's brother (Shawn) and his family in Eldoret, Kenya. Shawn works for Indiana University on an HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention project named AMPATH (more info on this effort on the "links" page). We also explored remote parts of Kenya through a 3-day safari adventure, and spent nearly a week in France since Paris was more or less "on the way home" to the United States.

Some interesting data on our trip:
    -  Total number of miles traveled: just under 20,000
    -  Miles traveled by air: 18,767
    -  Miles traveled by train/metro: approximately 200
    -  Miles traveled by automobile: nearly 800
    -  Countries visited outside of the U.S.: 3 - The Netherlands, France, and Kenya
